Dual Fuel Burners
Zhongli Weiye supplies dual fuel burners that fire natural gas and light oil in one unit, with the gas trains and accessories matched to your configuration and commissioning support on both fuels.
Why Zhongli Weiye dual fuel burners
A dual fuel burner earns its place where the gas supply can be interrupted, where seasonal pricing makes oil the cheaper fuel part of the year, or where a standby fuel is written into the plant's licence to operate. One unit covers both duties — but that only helps if the changeover, the gas train and the oil pump set are specified together with the burner.
Because one unit has to satisfy two fuels, checking the gas train, the oil pump set and the control system together before ordering prevents most commissioning problems. We supply Riello dual fuel burners with the gas trains and accessories matched to your configuration, then support installation, commissioning on both fuels and maintenance afterwards — including calibration and testing of the burner, valves and actuators, fault diagnosis, and acceptance testing before handover.
- Manual-changeover and automatic-switchover layouts, specified against why you hold two fuels.
- Dedicated oil-circuit motors stop the pump during gas operation, preventing pump seizure.
- Commissioning and acceptance testing on both fuels before handover.

Dual FAQs
How does the fuel changeover work on a dual fuel burner?
It depends on the model. On the Riello GI/EMME 1400 the fuel circuits are separate and changeover is made on the burner by a manual switch, gas only or light oil only. On the RLS 250/M MZ the oil side runs two-stage while the gas side modulates with a PID regulator and probes. Interruptible supply and seasonal pricing are normally manual duties; automatic switchover is engineered to the plant controls.
Do I need separate gas and oil trains?
Yes — each fuel keeps its own train, pump set and safety chain, and they have to be sized together with the burner. We supply and match the complete set, and we check the combination before an order is confirmed.
What boiler data should I send for a dual fuel quotation?
Boiler duty and type, both fuels with their supply pressures, the chamber dimensions or drawing, the turndown your load needs, and your existing control setup. With those we can recommend a model and confirm the changeover arrangement.
