Solenoid Valve

Zhongli Weiye supplies solenoid valves for gas trains and oil lines, matched by the brand code on the valve body, the coil voltage and the pipe interface of the train you run.

What a solenoid valve does on a burner

A solenoid valve is the electrically operated shut-off on the gas or oil line: it opens when the program controller calls for flame and closes the moment the controller, a pressure switch or a leak detector signals a fault. On a gas train the safety valves are normally fitted as a pair in series, and on some trains the regulator is combined with them in a single block body.

  • Typical failure: the valve hums, fails to open on a start attempt, or weeps past its seat enough to trip the leak detector and lock the burner out. A coil that has been buzzing for weeks will often run hot and fail outright.
  • Check before ordering: coil voltage and frequency, pipe size and thread standard, the media it sees (natural gas, LPG, light oil or air) and the maximum inlet pressure of your gas train.
  • Send us the code on the valve body plus the burner model it is fitted to; a photo of the label is enough to start.

Buyer Questions

Solenoid FAQs

Why does my burner lock out on the leak detector after a valve change?

A valve that weeps only slightly past its seat is the usual cause: the valve-proving system sees the pressure rise and locks the burner out. Send us the valve code and we will check the seat type and rating against your gas train before you re-order.

Can you supply the complete gas train, not just the valves?

Yes. We supply gas trains, valves, regulators and control components as a matched set, sized to your gas family, inlet pressure and required flow.
