10 t/h Steam Boiler for a Gypsum-Board Plant

A 10 t/h drying line needed large, stable steam and a strict low-NOx burn — plus spares that are easy to source. A Weishaupt WML20 low-NOx burner with standard controls delivered all three.

The challenge

01

The 10 t/h boiler feeds a drying line that needs large, stable steam output.

02

Environmental assessment was strict and required low-NOx combustion.

03

The old unit's parts were discontinued — hard to source spares and costly downtime.

04

The plant needed easy-to-source spares and straightforward maintenance.

What we supplied & did

01

Selected a Weishaupt WML20 low-NOx burner with a low-NOx head for the 10 t/h boiler.

02

Fitted a full Dungs gas safety valve train with leak test and dual safety cutoff.

03

Used a complete Siemens program control and flame detection with standard, widely available parts.

04

Commissioned boiler/burner interlock with overpressure, flameout and pressure-abnormal multi-protection.

Measured results

What changed on the line

Output: 10 t/h, full-load stable NOx: Passed environmental acceptance Spares: Generic, easy to source Safety: Multi-interlock protection

10 t/h full-load output is stable, meeting continuous gypsum-board drying production.

NOx meets the strict local standard and passed environmental acceptance.

Generic, easy-to-source spares lowered maintenance cost.

Complete interlock protection gives high safety and stable year-round operation.
