6 t/h Boiler Burner Upgrade for a Textile Dyeing Plant

Day full-load, night low-hold — the old two-stage burner could not follow the dyeing line. A modulating Baltur burner with an integrated Dungs combo valve removed the yellow smoke and the unexplained shutdowns.

The challenge

01

Large load swings (day full, night low hold); the old burner was only two-stage, so low-load combustion was poor with yellow smoke.

02

Gas pressure fluctuation kept tripping fault shutdowns and broke dyeing-line continuity.

03

The plant wanted strong high-load output and stable low-load combustion while wasting less gas and staying compliant.

What we supplied & did

01

Fitted a Baltur TBG210P modulating burner on the 6 t/h boiler for continuous 20–100% load regulation.

02

Used a Dungs integrated gas combo valve (regulation + filtration + safety cutoff) to absorb upstream pressure swings.

03

Added pressure monitoring and flame interlock for fast gas cutoff on abnormal conditions.

04

Tuned the high/low-load air/fuel curves on site to clean up low-load combustion.

Measured results

What changed on the line

Load range: 20–100% continuous Gas saving: ≈ 10% overall Low-load: Clean, no yellow smoke NOx: Compliant

Both full and low load burn clean — no yellow smoke or incomplete combustion.

Under gas-pressure swings the boiler no longer shuts down unexplained, protecting dyeing continuity.

Flexible load matched the production schedule and saved about 10% gas overall.

Emissions are compliant with a low fault rate across the year.
