Aluminum Melting
Burners for Aluminum Melting & Holding
High-duty, controllable heat for aluminum melting and holding furnaces.
How Zhongli Weiye equips this industry
Aluminium melting needs high heat input with control to limit oxidation and dross. We supply heavy-duty gas and oil burners sized for melting and holding furnaces, with modulation for the holding phase.
Aluminium oxidises fast above its melt point, so holding runs at the lowest fire that keeps the bath liquid; we size the burner for the melt rate and then let it modulate right down once the charge is molten.
We set the burner for low excess air during holding because every percent of oxygen over the stoichiometric burn-up pulls more aluminium into dross, which is lost margin on every heat.

Buyer Questions
Aluminum Melting FAQs
Can the burner reduce oxidation?
Low-excess-air modulation during holding limits how much aluminium burns into dross; we set the burner by furnace type and alloy rather than running it at full fire.
Gas or oil for aluminium?
Gas is cleaner and easier to trim where piped; oil carries the high melt duty or smelters far from a gas grid. We size by alloy and the local fuel cost, not by a single default.
Is safety control included?
Detectors and controllers are a matched set, built for the high-temperature, dusty furnace where a flame-out means a frozen, unpourable bath.
